Headbands, Halloween, Crawling & Grandpa!

Trent was a cute little frog for Halloween and the Harvest Party in Fairfield seemed to be a hit for the church and community. The photo taken above was obviously past bedtime, but it is the first moment I finally had to get my camera out!
Grandpa and Grandma Sawyer came over last weekend and Grandpa John grabbed a hair brush in hopes of calming Trent's hair. It was pretty funny, he looked like a little "nerd" and it just didn't look like the Trent we know, but Grandpa LOVED it :) and we LOVE him!!!
Trent started crawling this week, (7 months old) and he is pulling himself up to standing. He definately loves to walk, and I'm very afraid he is just going to take off too soon!!

Okay, so YES my son is a boy, but I was going to make one of these headbands for my new neice and figured, why not make more and sell them for baby gifts? So let me know if you would be interested! I'm thinking I'll sell them for like ~ $8 a piece so let your friends know, or let me know if you would like one as a christmas gift for you! I'm making different sizes, and right now I have them in Pink w/white headband and Red w/black headband like you can see on Trent. Poor boy.

6 months old already!!

Trent has been sitting up so incredibly well, he know often ends up on his tummy! What is kinda scary is he wants to walk ALL THE TIME. Yes my back has been quite tired walking him around, but he enjoys it even more than his walker, or any bouncy toy. He is getting quite good too! I'm hoping he crawls before he walks!!! We have yummy delicous apples and I'm hoping to make cider. Jake is looking forward to hunting season, and we will host his friends here the next two weekends. I'll be helping at church, we are having a hay ride food drive the 18th, and I'm organizing a Harvest Party for Halloween. I hope its a hit, and that it attracks more kids to come to Sunday School. I've been helping lead music for Sunday school and the kids seem to be having a blast! Please pray for our churches and that growth happens. I have also recently applied to coach the Liberty Cheerleading squad so we will see how that turns out. I also am starting to teach an adult skills volleyball class in Spokane on Wednesday nights for the city Parks and Rec. For those of you who know my friend Carl, you may understand how I got tied into that! :) All is well, Trent is growing like a weed and we are excited to take advantage of this Fall season!

I heart Squash and Carrots!

So we have moved onto some foods..of course introducing one every three days, but Trent is loving squash and now Carrots! Mommy now has a larger mess twice a day :) We also are getting a bit more cranky with these teeth trying to pop through. He is currently enjoying a frozen teething ring over his toys! Which is nice he can hold it now! Trent is sitting up on his own so well now, and sometimes ends up on his belly from there! He is also liking to "walk" when he stands up. and he LOVES to stand. I often try to sit him down but he lockes his hips and knees to a standing position.

Happy Birthday Mya!

Sadie squished between Grant and Allison

I caught Grant in Action tormenting his sister...although she may have asked for it.

Silly Allie-gator

So last minute Trent and I got a ride to Seattle with Angela to attend Mya's birthday party! Trent had a blast and the party was a ladybug hit! On our ride over Grant, Sadie, and Allison were all squished into the back seat (mostly Sadie squished), while Trent and I had the middle two seats. Trent got so show off his squeeks and cooing along with new dance moves to the family all weekend! We were blessed to be there, but missed Daddy, Grandpa and aunt Brittany who couldn't make it. We are praying for Julie, Rob and Mya for her scheduled heart surgery tomorrow.

Can you tell I'm teething?

We also rolled over twice this morning all by myself! You can see my pretty long eye lashes in this picture too.
